WHEREAS, on October 14, 2025, via Resolution No.2025-359, the City of Grand
Island awarded RMV Construction, LLC of Kearney, Nebraska the bid in the amount of
$7,528,317.60 for Transfer Station Facility Improvements; Project No. 2025-SWTS-1; and
WHEREAS,on June 23,2026,via Resolution No.2026-165,City Council approved
Change Order No. 1 in the amount of$262,946.44 for such project; and
WHEREAS, several items have been encountered that require modification to the
original contract; and
WHEREAS,such modifications have been incorporated into Change Order No.2 for
a contract increase of$42,329.00, resulting in a revised contract amount of$7,833,593.04.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA, that the Mayor be,and hereby is, authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 2, in the amount of$42,329.00, between the City of Grand
Island and RMV Construction, LLC of Kearney,Nebraska to provide the modifications.
