WHEREAS, On March 25, 2025, the Council approved the purchase of a 2025
Digger/Derrick for the Electric Overhead Division of the Utilities Department from Terex Utilities
LLC, of Watertown, SD for$342,519.00; and
WHEREAS,Sourcewell contract#110421-TER was awarded to Terex Utilities LLC,
of Watertown, SD; and
WHEREAS,Unit#1559 Digger/Derrick boom has a change order to include a PTO
driven air compressor and associated plumbing and oil cooling equipment at an additional cost of
$33,342.00, for a total purchase cost of$375,861.00.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the amendment to the Overhead Department
purchase a 2025 Digger/Derrick boom from Terex Utilities LLC,of Watertown,SD for$375,861.00
for the Line Division of the Utilities Department, is hereby approved.
