WHEREAS,an application was filed VAT Hospitality,Inc.dba Avid Hotels/Atwell
Suites, 1717 Conestoga Drive, Grand Island, Nebraska for a Class "C" Liquor License; and
WHEREAS,a public hearing notice was published in the Grand Island Independent
as required by state law on October 3; 2026 such publication cost being $12.10; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on October 13, 2026 for the purpose of
discussing such liquor license application.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the City of Grand Island hereby recommends
approval of the above-identified liquor license application contingent upon final inspections.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Grand Island hereby recommends
approval of Margarita Younes-Holz, 2510 Turkey Creek Lane, Kearney, Nebraska for liquor
manager.
