WHEREAS,on February 28,2017,via Resolution No.217-55 the Grand Island City
Council approved entering into an agreement with JEO Consulting Group,Inc.of Omaha,Nebraska
in the amount of$165,600.00 for Moores Creek Drainage Extension; and
WHEREAS, the original agreement is now being amended to include final design,
bidding and negotiation, ROW acquisition, and construction phase services; and
WHEREAS,such amendment is in the amount of$74,095.00,for a revised agreement
amount of$239,695.00; and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 to the original agreement with JEO Consulting
Group, Inc. of Omaha, Nebraska is required to proceed with this project.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that Amendment No. 1 with JEO Consulting
Group, Inc. of Grand Island,Nebraska for engineering services related to Moores Creek Drainage
Extension is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such amendment on behalf of the City of Grand Island and that the City Clerk shall store,
retain,and make available for access all related and herein referenced document sin the same manner
as contracts and agreements are retained.
