WHEREAS,the Solid Waste Division of the Public Works Department of the City of
Grand Island budgeted for one (1)pickup in the 2026/2027 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, said vehicle, one (1) 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4WD Crew Cab
Pickup,can be obtained from the 2026 State Contract Holder, Sid Dillon of Wahoo,Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, purchasing the vehicle from the 2026 State Contract Holder meets all
statutory bidding requirements.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the purchase of one(1)2024 Chevrolet 1500
4WD Crew Cab Pickup in the total amount of$42,330.00 from the 2026 State Contract Holder, Sid
Dillon of Wahoo, Nebraska, is hereby approved.
