WHEREAS, the City Engineer/Public Works Director for the City Of Grand
Island has issued a Certificate of Completion for Stuhr Road at Highway 30 Northbound Left
Turn Lanes; Project No. 2023-P-12, certifying that The Diamond Engineering Company of
Grand Island, Nebraska, under contract, has completed the work required by the contract at a
total cost of$902,198.73; and
WHEREAS, the City has incurred additional Project costs in the amount of
$246,702.05, as detailed below, resulting in a total Project cost of$1,148,900.78; and
City of Grand Island- PW Engineering Division Engineering $ 21,979.29
City of Grand Island Utilities- Line Division Power Relocate $ 22,058.65
Olsson, Inc. Engineering $ 202,068.51
Hall County Register of Deeds Filing $ 110.00
Hall County Survey $ 400.00
Grand Island Independent Advertising $ 85.60
Additional Costs= $246,702.05
WHEREAS, the City Engineer/Public Works Director recommends the
confirmation of the Certificate of Completion and acceptance of the Project as complete; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor concurs with the recommendation of the City
Engineer/Public Works Director.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the Certificate of Final Completion,
for Stuhr Road at Highway 30 Northbound Left Turn Lanes; Project No. 2023-P-12, in the total
amount of$1,148,900.78, is hereby confirmed and the Project is hereby accepted as complete.
