IIWHEREAS, the City Engineering/Public Works Director for the City of Grand Island
issued a Certificate of Final Completion for Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation;Project No.2024-S-3 certifying
that Midlands Contracting dba Johnson Service Co.of Kearney,Nebraska,under contract,has completed
such project for the total construction amount of$869,231.70; and
WHEREAS,the City Engineer/Public Works Director recommends the acceptance of the
project; and
WHEREAS, additional project costs equate to $181,182.26, as shown
ADDITIONAL COSTS
City of Grand Island- Public Works Dept- Engineering $ 37,504.66
Olsson, Inc.- Engineering $ 143,596.57
Grand Island Independent- Advertising $ 59.60
Menards- Tools $ 21.43
Total Additional Costs= $ 181,182.26
WHEREAS, the Mayor concurs with the recommendation of the City Engineer/Public
Works Director.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the Certificate of Final Completion for Sanitary Sewer
Rehabilitation; Project No. 2024-S-3, in the total amount of$1,050,413.96 is hereby confirmed.
