WHEREAS, the National Joint Powers Alliance Buying Group, now known as
Sourcewell,was utilized to secure competitive bids for one(1)2027 Model D7 Tracked Dozer with
Waste Handler Arrangement by the Solid Waste Division of the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, the Sourcwell Contract No. 011723 CAT was awarded to NMC/
Nebraska Machinery Company of Doniphan,Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has recommended the purchase of one(1)
2027 Model D7 Tracked Dozer with Waste Handler Arrangement from NMC/Nebraska Machinery
Company of Doniphan, Nebraska in the amount of$1,017,463.00, with a trade in allowance of
$75,750.00 for a net purchase price of$941,713.00.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that a purchase order and subsequent payment for
the 2027 D7 Tracked Dozer with Waste Handler Arrangement from NMC/ Nebraska Machinery
Company of Doniphan, Nebraska is hereby approved.
