WHEREAS, the Streets Division of the Public Works Department for the City of
Grand Island, budgeted for a vehicle in the 2025/2026 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the State of Nebraska Contract No. 16215 OC meets all equipment
specifications and all statutory bidding requirements; and
WHEREAS, the State of Nebraska awarded said contract to Sid Dillon Ford Inc
of Wahoo, Nebraska.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that a purchase order and subsequent payment is
authorized for a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, 4x4, crew cab pick-up with utility body in the
amount of$77,933.00 from Sid Dillon Ford Inc of Wahoo, Nebraska.
