08/19/2025 Resolutions 2025-283 RESOLUTION 2025-283 WHEREAS,a permanent easement is required by the City of Grand Island for South Locust Street Improvements-Fonner Park Road to 2nd Street;Project No. 2021-P-6, from property described as follows: Property Owner Legal Description Amount A PERMANENT EASEMENT CONSISTING OF A PART OF A $195.00 TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED IN INSTRUMENT NO. 201804270, BEING A PART OF THE WEST 75' OF LOTS 1-3, Permanent CAMPBELL'S SUBDIVISION, CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, Easement Wilmer Mendoza, Kenia HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA AND MORE PARTICULARLY Acquisition= Murillo, Melvo Mendoza, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: $160.00 and Blanca Mendoza THE WEST 5.00 FEET OF THE NORTH 7.00 FEET OF SAID TRACT. SAID PERMANENT EASEMENT CONTAINS 35 Cost to Cure= SQUARE FEET MORE OR LESS. $35.00 Total= $195.00 WHEREAS,agreement for the permanent easement has been reviewed and approved by the City Legal Department. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into the Agreement for permanent easement on the above described tract of land. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
