An ordinance to repeal and replace Ordinance 10,054 along with renaming a segment of
US Highway 30 just west of Monitor Road east to the existing Old Highway 30 due to an
agreement between Grand Island City Council and Nebraska Department of Transportation
(NDOT) for construction/improvements to US Highway 30 just west of Monitor Road east to the
existing four-lane divided section west of the US-281/N-2/US-30 interchange in Grand Island for
a distance of 3.4 miles; to re-address the properties abutting said segment of renamed street; to
repeal any ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith; and to provide for publication and
the effective date of this ordinance.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND
ISLAND,NEBRASKA:
SECTION 1. Repeal and replace Ordinance NO. 10,054, the renaming a segment of the
public street named US Highway 30 between Monitor Road and the terminus of existing US
Highway 30 all located partly within Section 26 Township 11-Range 10, Section 27 Township 11-
Range 10 and Section 34 Township 11- Range 10 within the Grand Island City Limits and it's 2-
mile Extraterritorial Zoning Jurisdiction(as shown on the map attached as exhibit A), abutting the
following real estate addresses.
SECTION 2.A segment of the public street named US Highway 30 between Monitor Road
and the terminus of existing US Highway 30 all located partly within Section 26 Township 11-
Range 10, Section 27 Township 11- Range 10 and Section 34 Township 11- Range 10 within the
Grand Island City Limits and it's 2-mile Extraterritorial Zoning Jurisdiction(as shown on the map
attached as exhibit A), abutting the following real estate addresses.
