WHEREAS, the City Engineering/Public Works Director for the City of Grand Island
issued a Certificate of Final Completion for Lift Station No. 1 Mechanical Replacement;Project No.2025-
S-5 certifying that Van Kirk Bros. Contracting of Sutton, Nebraska, under contract, has completed such
project for the total construction amount of$100,573.20; and
WHEREAS,the City Engineer/Public Works Director recommends the acceptance of the
project; and
WHEREAS, additional project costs equate to $8,211.29, as shown
ADDITIONAL COSTS
City of Grand Island PW Engineering Services $ 8,151.69
Grand Island Independent Advertising $ 59.60
Total Additional Costs= $8,211.29
WHEREAS, the Mayor concurs with the recommendation of the City Engineer/Public
Works Director.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the Certificate of Final Completion for Lift Station No. 1
Mechanical Replacement;Project No.2025-S-5,in the total amount of$108,784.49 is hereby confirmed.
