09/14/2010 Resolutions 2010-254RESOLUTION 2010-254 WHEREAS, an application was filed by Tokyo Station, Inc. doing business as Tokyo Station, 2425 N. Diers Avenue for a Class "I" Liquor License; and WHEREAS, a public hearing notice was published in the Grand Island Independent as required by state law on September 4, 2010; such publication cost being $12.73; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 14, 2010 for the purpose of discussing such liquor license application. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that: The City of Grand Island hereby recommends approval ofthe above-identified liquor license application contingent upon final inspections. The City of Grand Island hereby makes no recommendation as to the above- identified liquor license application. The City of Grand Island hereby makes no recommendation as to the above- identified liquor license application with the following stipulations: The City of Grand Island hereby recommends denial of the above-identified liquor license application for the following reasons: The City of Grand Island hereby recommends approval of Charlie Canfield, 3221 Ponca Circle as liquor manager of such business upon the completion of a state approved alcohol server/seller training program.
