RES 0 L UTI 0 N 2006-24
WHEREAS, the Grand Island / Hall County Emergency Management Department has
budgeted in both the City and the County 2005/2006 fiscal year budgets to purchase a new 911
telephone system; and
WHEREAS, equipment for the telephone system can be obtained from the State
contract holder; and
WHEREAS, purchasing the equipment from the State contract holder meets all
statutory bidding requirements; and
WHEREAS, the City and Hall County have agreed to pay equally towards the
completion of this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the purchase of a TCI 911 telephone system
for the Emergency Management Department in the amount of $140,000 from the State contract
holder, Tel Control Inc. of Yukon, Oklahoma, is hereby approved.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, January 24, 2006.
