WHEREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from
Thomas and Paula Rauert, to install, upgrade, maintain and repair, a 115 kV electric transmission line
to the northwest of the City; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 13, 2010, for the purpose ofdiscussing
the proposed acquisition of an easement located in Hall County, Nebraska; and more particularly
described as follows:
The westerly twenty-five (25) feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE '/) of Section
Fourteen (14), Township Twelve (12) North, Range Ten (10) West of the 6t'' P.M.
Hall County, Nebraska.
The above described easement and right-of--way containing a total of 1.52 acres,
more or less, as shown on the plat dated November 9, 2009, marked Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is,
authorized to acquire public utility easement from Thomas and Paula Rauert, on the above-descnbed
tracts of land.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, July 13, 2010.
