04/12/2005 Resolutions 2005-111 I I I RES 0 L UTI 0 N 2005-111 WHEREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from Abundant Life Christian Center, a non-profit corporation, to install, upgrade, maintain, and repair public utilities; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on April 12, 2005, for the purpose of discussing the proposed acquisition of an easement and right-of-way through a part ofthe Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NE1I4, SE1/4) of Section Thirteen (13), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Ten (10) West of the 6th P.M. in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, the easement and right-of-way being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southeast comer of said Northeast Quarter ofthe Southeast Quarter (NE1I4, SE1I4); thence running westerly along the south line of said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NE1I4, SE1/4), on an Assumed Bearing of N89017'04"W, a distance of Thirty Seven (37.0) feet, to a point on the westerly right- of-way line of Webb Road; thence running NOOoOO'OO"W, along the westerly right- of-way line of Webb Road, a distance of Six Hundred Seventy Three and Seventy Six Hundredths (673.76) feet, to the Actual Point of Beginning, said point also being Thirty Seven (37.0) feet west of the east line of said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NE1/4, SE1I4); thence running S89059'48"W, a distance of Sixteen (16.0) feet; thence running NOooOO'OO"E, a distance of Eighty Six and Sixty Hundredths (86.60) feet; thence running NOoo30'56"W, a distance of One Hundred Eleven and Eleven Hundredths (111.11) feet; thence running S89058'38"E, a distance of Sixteen (16.0) feet, to a point on the westerly right-of-way line of Webb Road, said point also being Thirty Eight (38.0) feet west of the east line of said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NE1I4, SE1I4); thence running SOoo30'56"E, along the westerly right-of-way line of Webb Road, a distance of One Hundred Eleven and Eleven Hundredths (111.11) feet, to a point Thirty Seven (37.0) feet west of the east line of said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NE1I4, SE1/4); thence running SOooOO'OO"W, a distance of Eighty Six and Sixty Hundredths (86.60) feet, to the actual point of beginning and containing 0.073 acres more or less. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, authorized to acquire a public utility easement from Abundant Life Christian Center, a non-profit corporation, on the above-described tract of land.
