03/09/2004 Resolutions 2004-54 I RES 0 L UTI 0 N 2004-54 WHEREAS, a permanent drainage easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from Donald G. Razey and Deborah J. Razey, husband and wife, to install, upgrade, maintain, and repair drainage structures and appurtenances; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 9, 2004, for the purpose of discussing the proposed acquisition of an easement through a part of Lot Two (2), Firethorn Estates Subdivision in the City of Grand Island, located in the Southwest Quarter (SW1/4) of Section Twenty Seven (27), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M. in Hall County, Nebraska, the easement and right-of-way being more particularly described as follows: The east ten (10.0) feet of said Lot Two (2); the above-described easement containing a calculated area of 5,712.10 square feet or 0.1311 acres, more or less. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, authorized to acquire a permanent drainage easement from Donald G. Razey and Deborah J. Razey, husband and wife, on the above-described tract of land. I Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, March 9, 2004.
