11/12/2002 Resolutions 2002-358 I I I RES 0 L UTI 0 N 2002-358 WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island invited sealed bids for Sanitary Sewer District No. 506, according to plans and specifications on file with the City Engineer; and WHEREAS, on November 5, 2002, bids were received, opened and reviewed; and WHEREAS, Ke-Beck Company of Kearney, Nebraska, submitted a bid in accordance with the terms of the advertisement of bids and plans and specifications and all other statutory requirements contained therein, such bid being in the amount of $16,020.25; and WHEREAS, Ke-Beck Company's bid is less than the engineer's opinion ofthe cost of such proj ect. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the bid of Ke-Beck Company of Kearney, Nebraska, in the amount of$16,020.25 for Sanitary Sewer District No. 506 is hereby approved as the lowest responsive bid. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a contract for such project between the City and such contractor be entered into, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute such contract on behalf of the City of Grand Island. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the bid of The Diamond Engineering Company, Inc. of Grand Island, Nebraska, in the amount of$19,904.70 for Sanitary Sewer District No. 506 is hereby approved as the lowest responsive bid.
