RESOLUTION 2002-115
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island invited proposals for
Design/Material/Construction Services for Greenhouse Building, according to plans and Request for
Proposals on file with the Parks and Recreation Department; and
WHEREAS, proposals were due on April 12, 2002; and
WHEREAS, Stuppy Greenhouse Manufacturing Company of North Kansas City,
Missouri, submitted a proposal in accordance with the terms of the Request for Proposals and all
other statutory requirements contained therein; such proposal being in the amount of $45,846.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the proposal of Stuppy Greenhouse
Manufacturing Company of North Kansas City, Missouri for design/material/construction services
for Greenhouse Building in the amount of $45,846.00 is hereby approved as the best proposal
received.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a contract by and between the city and such
contractor be entered into for such project; and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska on April 23, 2002.
