06/26/2001 Resolutions 2001-167 I I I RESOLUTION 2001-167 WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island invited bids for Furnishing and Installation of Skate Park Equipment for Pier Park, according to the plans and specifications on file with the Parks and Recreation Department; and WHEREAS, on June 12,2001, bids were received, opened and reviewed; and WHEREAS, American Ramp Company of Joplin, Missouri, submitted a bid in accordance with the terms ofthe advertisement of bids and the plans and specifications and all other statutory requirements contained therein, such bid being in the amount of $1 04,244.12. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the bid of American Ramp Company of Joplin, Missouri, in the amount of $104,244.12 for furnishing and installation of skate park equipment for Pier Park is hereby approved as the lowest responsive bid submitted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a contract for such project be entered into between the City and such contractor; and that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute such contract on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
