RESOLUTION 2001-139
WHEREAS, the Community Projects Director of the City of Grand Island has issued
her Certificate of Final Completion for Remodeling - One Stop Center at 1306 West Third Street
in Grand Island, certifying that Westland Building Company of Hastings, Nebraska, under contract
approved by the City Council on December 19,2000, has completed such project according to the
terms, conditions, and stipulations for such project; and
WHEREAS, the Community Projects Director recommends the acceptance of the
final completion; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor concurs with the Community Projects Director's
recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that:
1. The Community Project Director's Certificate of Final Completion for Remodeling - One
Stop Center at 1306 West Third Street in Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby confirmed.
2.
A warrant be issued from Account No. 400.04.40080.05610 in the amount of $38,958.00
payable to Westland Building Company for the total amount due the contractor.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska on June 12,2001.
