04/24/2001 Resolutions 2001-107 I I I RESOLUTION 2001-107 WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island and the Nebraska Department of Roads desire to improve US. Highway 30 in Grand Island from Greenwich Street to Plum Street by resurfacing due to increased traffic and general deterioration of the roadway; and WHEREAS, the State of Nebraska agrees to participate in 100 percent of the actual construction cost of approved and accepted work up to a maximum monetary amount of $50,000; and WHEREAS, an agreement with the Nebraska Department of Roads is required to proceed with this project, known as Project No. RD-30-4(1 031). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the agreement with the Nebraska Department of Roads for the resurfacing of US. Highway 30 in Grand Island from Greenwich Street to Plum Street is hereby approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
