RESOLUTION 2001-41
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island invited sealed bids for One (1) New 62"
Commercial Mulching Turf Mower for the Cemetery Division of the Parks and Recreation
Department, according to plans and specifications on file with the Cemetery Division office; and
WHEREAS, on January 23, 2001, bids were received, opened and reviewed; and
WHEREAS, Mid-West Turf and Irrigation of Omaha, Nebraska, submitted a bid in
accordance with the terms of the advertisement of bids and plans and specifications and all other
statutory requirements contained therein, such bid being in the amount of $11 ,082 after trade-in; and
WHEREAS, funds have been allocated to the Cemetery Division budget for the
purchase of such mower.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the bid of Mid-West Turf and Irrigation of
Omaha, Nebraska, in the amount of $11,082 after trade-in for one new 62" commercial mulching
turf mower for the Cemetery Division of the Parks and Recreation Department is hereby approved
as the lowest responsive bid.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska on February 6,2001.
