12/19/2000 Resolutions 2000-383 I I I RES 0 L UTI 0 N 2000-383 WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island invited sealed bids for Seven (7) New 2001 Four-Door Police Package Vehicles, according to the plans and specifications on file with the Purchasing Division of the Legal Department; and WHEREAS, on November 30, 2000 bids were received, opened and reviewed; and WHEREAS, Anderson Ford of Grand Island, Nebraska, submitted a bid in accordance with the terms of the advertisement for bids and specifications and all other statutory requirements contained therein, such bid being in the amount of$151,872 with a trade-in allowance of$28,750 for a net amount of$123,122.00; and WHEREAS, Anderson Ford's bid is less than the estimate for such vehicle. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the bid of Anderson Ford of Grand Island, Nebraska, for seven new 2001 four-door police package vehicles in the amount of $123,122.00 after trade-in is hereby approved as the lowest acceptable bid.
