WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island invited proposals for Continuous Emission
System Data Acquisition Systems, according to plans and Request for Proposals on file at the Platte
Generating Station; and
WHEREAS, proposals were due on November 27,2000; and
WHEREAS, Environmental Systems Corporation of Knoxville, Tennessee, submitted
a proposal in accordance with the terms of the Request for Proposals and all other statutory
requirements contained therein; such proposal being in the amount of $122,790 plus annual
maintenance support which is estimated at $8,000 per year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the proposal of Environmental Systems
Corporation of Knoxville, Tennessee, for continuous emission system data acquisition systems at
Platte Generating Station is hereby approved in accordance with its proposal terms and conditions
as the best evaluated proposal received.
