RES 0 L UTI 0 N 2000-321
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director of the City of Grand Island has issued his
Certificate of Final Completion for Street Improvement District 1233, located in Juergen Road
(Platte Valley Industrial Park), certifying that Blessing, L.L.c. of Keamey, Nebraska, under contract
dated August 18, 2000, has completed such project according to the terms, conditions, and
stipulations for such improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director recommends the acceptance of the final
completion; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor concurs with the Public Works Director's recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that:
1. The Public Works Director's Certificate of Final Completion for Street Improvement District
1233, is hereby confirmed.
2.
A warrant be issued from Account No. 400.01.40054.05630 in the amount of $6,016.98
payable to Blessing, L.L.c. for the amount due the contractor.
3.
The Costs of Engineering be credited to Account No. 100.130.04516 from Account No.
400.01.40054.05630 in the amount of$12,033.96.
4. The City Council will sit as a Board of Equalization on March 13,2001 to determine benefits
and set assessments for Street Improvement District 1233.
