WHEREAS, on July 10, 2000, by Resolution 2000-192, the City of Grand Island
awarded the bid for Storm Drainage Project 2000-D-l to Castle Construction Company of
Columbus, Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that modifications to the work to be performed
by Castle Construction Company are necessary; and
WHEREAS, such modifications have been incorporated into Change Order No.1;
and
WHEREAS, the result of such modification for this project will increase the contract
amount by $10,781.55.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No.1, between the City of Grand Island and Castle Construction
Company to provide the following modifications:
Credit for "Construct 84" CMP" ......... .......................................................................................... (18,364.45)
Upgrade to 12 gauge poly coated CMP ................. ............... ................................................ ......... 29,146.00
