06/13/2000 Resolutions 2000-167 I I I RES 0 L UTI 0 N 2000-167 WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island invited sealed bids for Play Structures for the Parks and Recreation Department, according to plans and specifications on file with the Park Maintenance Division of the Parks and Recreation Department; and WHEREAS, on May 3,2000, bids were received, opened and reviewed; and WHEREAS, Churchich Recreational Design of Omaha, Nebraska, submitted a bid in accordance with the terms of the advertisement of bids and plans and specifications and all other statutory requirements contained therein, such bid being in the amount of $21,066 for playground equipment to be used at George Park and Stolley Park; and WHEREAS, PRS Associates of Bismarck, North Dakota, submitted a bid in accordance with the terms of the advertisement of bids and plans and specifications and all other statutory requirements contained therein, such bid being in the amount of $17,576 for playground equipment to be used at Lincoln Park and Ryder Park; and WHEREAS, the total ofthe bids listed above is less than the engineer's estimate for such proj ect. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the bid of Churchich Recreational Design of Omaha, Nebraska, in the amount of$21,066 for playground equipment to be used at George Park and Stolley Park is hereby approved as the lowest evaluated bid for those items. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the bid ofPRS Associates of Bismark, North Dakota, in the amount of$17,576 for playground equipment to be used at Lincoln Park and Ryder Park is hereby approved as the lowest evaluated bid for those items.
