WHEREAS, hikelbike path easements are required by the City of Grand Island,
Nebraska from the Department ofthe Army, Corps. Of Engineering, Omaha District, for the purpose
installing, upgrading, maintaining, and repairing the hikelbike trail through the Comhusker Army
Ammunition Plant property; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 23, 2000, for the purpose of
discussing the proposed acquisition of thirty (30.0) foot wide easements and rights-of-way as
described below.

(NW1/4) of Section Five (5), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Ten (10)
West of the 6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, more particularly described as

A tract of land comprising the southerly Thirty (30.0) feet of the northerly
Eighty (80.0) feet (measured perpendicular to the north line) of said
Northwest Quarter (NW1/4), excepting therefrom, the westerly Forty (40.0)

thereof, and containinQ 1.79 acres, more or less.
Tract No.2 A Thirty (30.0) foot wide easement situated in the Northeast Quarter (NE1/4)

6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, more particularly described as follows:
A tract of land comprising the southerly Thirty (30.0) feet of the northerly
Eighty (80.0) feet (measured perpendicular to the north line), excepting
