RESOLUTION 2000-149
WHEREAS, on July 15, 1996, by Resolution 96-208, the City of Grand Island
approved the Westgate Sixth Subdivision Agreement by and between the City of Grand Island and
Little B's Corp.; and
WHEREAS, on August 19, 1996, the Westgate Sixth Subdivision Agreement was
recorded in the office of the Hall County Register of Deeds; and
WHEREAS, the subdivision agreement requires the installation of public sidewalks
when the lots are built upon; and
WHEREAS, on April 26, 1999, by Resolution 99-139, the City of Grand Island
approved a request to waive the sidewalk requirements for Lot Eight (8), Westgate Sixth
Subdivision, with the provision that the sidewalks would be installed when requested to do so by the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, a request has recently been made to allow a waiver of the installation
of sidewalk on Lots Two (2) and Seven (7), Westgate Sixth Subdivision, with the provision that such
sidewalk be installed at a later date when directed to do so by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the requirement to install sidewalks at 308 and
309 Gold Road, also referred to as Lots Two (2) and Seven (7), Westgate Sixth Subdivision is hereby
waived until such property owner is directed to do so by the City Council.
