04/25/2000 Resolutions 2000-131 I I I RES 0 L UTI 0 N 2000-131 WHEREAS, on May 26, 1996, by Resolution 96-141, the City of Grand Island approved a Lease Agreement with William J. Cure for general farming and pasture use of property near the City landfill; and WHEREAS, William J. Cure has expressed an interest in expanding the permitted use ofthe leased land to allow the grazing of35 animal units in a five field rotation; and WHEREAS, the lease payment due from William J. Cure will be increased from $2,000 per year to $3,000; and WHEREAS, the City Attorney's office has reviewed and approved the proposed Lease Addendum. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the Lease Addendum by and between the City of Grand Island and William J. Cure is hereby approved for the City property near the landfill, to allow for the grazing of 35 animal units, and to provide for an increase in the lease payment as identified in such Addendum.
