WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Director of the City of Grand Island has issued
his Certificate of Final Completion for Ryder Park Entrance Enhancement Project, certifying that
Diamond Engineering Co. of Grand Island, Nebraska, under contract dated March 6, 2000, has
completed such project according to the terms, conditions, and stipulations for such improvements;
and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Director recommends the acceptance of the
final completion; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor concurs III the Parks and Recreation Director's
recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that:
1. The Parks and Recreation Director's Certificate of Final Completion for Ryder Park
entrance enhancement project is hereby confirmed.
2. That a warrant be issued from Account No. 400.03.40011.05608 in the amount of
$20,544.46 payable to Diamond Engineering Co. for the final amount due the contractor.
