WHEREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Grand Island,
Nebraska from Charles E. Aubushon and Dorothy G. Aubushon, husband and wife, and Christopher
A. Aubushon and Anne Catherine Aubushon, husband and wife, for the purpose of installing public
utilities; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 13, 2000, for the purpose of
discussing the proposed acquisition of an easement and right-of-way through a part of Lot Nineteen
(19), Reuting's First Subdivision in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; the four (4.0)
foot wide easement and right-of-way being more particularly described as follows:
A tract ofland comprising all of the northerly Four (4.0) feet of the southerly Ten
(10.0) feet (measured perpendicular to the south line) of Lot Nineteen (19), Reuting's
First Subdivision in the City of 9rand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, said tract
extending from the west line of said Lot Nineteen (19) to the east line of said Lot
Nineteen (19) and lying north of and adjacent to an existing Six (6.0) foot wide
easement, as shown on the plat dated February 9, 2000, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is,
authorized to acquire a public utility easement from Charles E. Aubushon and Dorothy G. Aubushon,
husband and wife, and Christopher A. Aubushon and Anne Catherine Aubushon, husband and wife,
on the above-described tract of land.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, March 13,2000.
