01/10/2000 Resolutions 2000-8 I I I RES 0 L UTI 0 N 2000 - 8 WHEREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Grand Island, Nebraska from Donald S. Roush and Marlene C. Roush, husband and wife, and Michael D. Roush, a single person, for the purpose installing, upgrading, maintaining, and repairing sanitary sewer service to the new Curran Funeral Home on South Locust Street; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on January 10, 2000, for the purpose of discussing the proposed acquisition of an easement and right-of-way through a part of Lot One (1), Firethome Estates Subdivision in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; the centerline of said twenty (20.0) foot wide easement and right-of-way being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southwest comer of said Lot One (I); thence running northerly along the westerly line of said Lot One (1), a distance of Three Hundred Six (306.0) feet, to the ACTUAL point of beginning; thence deflecting right 92029008" and running easterly a distance of Twenty Three and Seventy Five Hundredths (23.75) feet; thence deflecting left 32003018" and running northeasterly a distance of One Hundred Forty One and Seventy Three Hundredths (141.73) feet; to the point of termination. Said tract containing 0.076 acres (3,310 sq. ft.) more or less, as shown on the drawing marked Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, authorized to acquire a public utility easement from Donald S. Roush and Marlene C. Roush, husband and wife, and Michael D. Roush, a single person, on the above-described tract of land.
