06/11/2002 Ordinances 8741 I I * This Space Reserved for Register of Deeds * ORDINANCE NO. 8741 An ordinance to vacate an existing easement and right-of-way located in a part of Lot Eight (8), Meadowlark West Fourth Subdivision in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; to provide for filing this ordinance in the office of the Register of Deeds of Hall County; and to provide for publication and the effective date of this ordinance. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. That the existing easement and right-of-way located in a part of Lot Eight (8), Meadowlark West Fourth Subdivision in the City of Grand Island, in the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 11 North, Range 10 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, Hall County, Nebraska, more particularly described as follows: Referring to the Southeast comer of Lot 8, Meadowlark West Fourth Subdivision; thence North 89 degrees 51 minutes 18 seconds West for a distance of 402.76 feet along the South line of Lot 8, Meadowlark West Fourth Subdivision to the West edge of an existing 30.00 foot utility easement; thence North 00 degrees 07 minutes 16 seconds East, along the West edge of an existing 30.00 foot utility easement, for a distance of 30.00 feet to the point of Beginning; thence North 03 Approved as to Form'" ~ June 7, 2002 ... City Attorney I I I ORDINANCE NO. 8741 (Cont.) degrees 43 minutes 11 seconds West, along the West line of an existing 40.00 foot utility easement, for a distance of 84.51 feet to the south line of an existing 30.00 foot utility easement; thence South 89 degrees 51 minutes 18 seconds East for a distance of 5.67 feet; thence North 00 degrees 07 minutes 16 seconds East for a distance of 30.00 feet to the North line of an existing 30.00 foot utility easement; thence South 89 degrees 51 minutes 18 seconds East, along the North line of an existing 30.00 foot utility easement, for a distance of 14.37 feet to the West line of an existing 20.00 foot utility easement; thence North 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West, along the West line of an existing 20.00 foot utility easement, for a distance of 425.93 feet; thence North 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East for a distance of 20.00 feet to the East line of an existing 20.00 foot utility easement; thence South 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East, along the East line of an existing 20.00 foot utility easement, for a distance of 455.97 feet; thence South 03 degrees 43 minutes 11 seconds East, along the East line of an existing 40.00 foot utility easement, for a distance of 84.52 feet to the North line of an existing 30.00 foot utility easement; thence North 89 degrees 51 minutes 18 seconds West for a distance of 40.09 feet to the Point of Beginning containing 12,931.58 square feet or 0.30 acres, more or less, being the permanent easement hereby vacated; is hereby vacated. SECTION 2. The title to the property vacated by Section 1 of this ordinance shall revert to the owner or owners of the real estate abutting the same in proportion to the respective ownership of such real estate. SECTION 3. This ordinance is directed to be filed in the office ofthe Register of Deeds of Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 4.
