ORDINANCE NO. 8666
An ordinance to create Street Improvement District No. 1239; to define the
boundaries of the district; to provide for the improvement of a street within the district by
I paving, storm drainage, and other incidential work in connection therewith; to provide for the
filing of this ordinance with the Hall County Register of Deeds; and to provide the publication
and effective date of this ordinance.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA:
SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1239 in the City of Grand Island,
Nebraska, is hereby created.
SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows:

Beginning at the northeast comer of Platte Valley Industrial Park Third
Subdivision; thence south on the east line of Platte Valley Industrial Park Third
Subdivision for a distance of Five Thousand Two Hundred Seventy Two and Six
Hundredths (5,272.06) feet; thence west on the south line of Platte Valley
Industrial Park Third Subdivision for a distance of One Thousand Two Hundred
Sixty Five and Forty Nine Hundredths (1,265.49) feet; thence north on the west
line of Lots Ten (10) and Thirteen (13) and a prolongation thereof to a point One

Thousand Eighty and Nine Hundredths (1,080.09) feet north of the southwest
comer of Lot Ten (10) Platte Valley Industrial Park Third Subdivision; thence
west on a line for a distance of Twenty (20.0) feet; thence north on the west line
of Lots Thirteen (13), Fourteen (14), Fifteen (15), and Sixteen (16), Platte Valley
Industrial Park Third Subdivision for a distance of One Thousand Eight Hundred
Twenty Nine and Thirty Nine Hundredths (1,829.39) feet to the northwest comer
of Lot Sixteen (16) of said subdivision; thence west on the north line of Lot One
(1) Cleary Subdivision for a distance of One Hundred Fifty (150.0) feet; thence
north on the east line of Lot One (1) Cleary Subdivision and Lot One (1) Timm's
Subdivision for a distance of Nine Hundred Ninety Nine and Eighty Three
Hundredths (999.83) feet to the south line of Lot Nineteen (19) Platte Valley
Industrial Park Third Subdivision; thence west on the south line of Lot Nineteen
(19) of said subdivision to the southwest comer of Lot Nineteen (19) Platte Valley
Industrial Park Third Subdivision; thence north on the west line of Lot Nineteen
(19) of said subdivision for a distance of Nine Hundred Ninety One and Twenty
Three Hundredths (991.23) feet; thence east on the north line of Lot Nineteen (19)
of said subdivision for a distance of Three Hundred Sixty Three and Sixty Four
Hundredths (363.64) feet to the southwest comer of Lot Twenty (20) Platte
Valley Industrial Park Third Subdivision; thence north on the west line of Lot
Twenty (20) of said subdivision and a prolongation thereof for a distance of Four
Hundred Sixteen and Fifty One Hundredths (416.51) feet; thence east on the north
line of Platte Valley Industrial Park Third Subdivision for a distance of One
Thousand Two Hundred Thirty One and Seventy Five Hundredths (1,231.75) feet
to the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat dated March 16,2001, attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving and
other incidental work in connection therewith:
Gold Core Drive from Schimmer Drive to Wildwood Drive, in the City of Grand
Island, Hall County, Nebraska.
Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications
approved by the Engineer for the City of Grand Island and approved by the Mayor and City
Council.
SECTION 4. All improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof,
shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby as provided by
law.

SECTION 5. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the
office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its
passage and publication, without the plat, as provided by law.
SECTION 7. After passage, approval and publication of this ordinance, without
the plat, notice of the creation of said district shall be published in the Grand Island Independent,
a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
