ORDINANCE NO. 8654
An ordinance to amend the Residential Development Zone platted Final
Development Plan for a tract of land comprised of Tracts 1 and 2, Ponderosa Lake Estates Fifth
Subdivision in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; to provide for publication and
the effective date of this ordinance.
WHEREAS, the Regional Planning Commission on January 10, 2001, held a
public hearing and made a recommendation approving the proposed amendment to Final
Development Plan for a tract of land comprised of Tracts 1 and 2, Ponderosa Lake Estates Fifth
Subdivision in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, notice as required by Neb. Rev. Stat. 919-923, R.R.S. 1943, has been
given to the Board of Education of School District No.2 in Hall County, Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, after public hearing on January 23,2001, the City Council found that
the amendment will continue the future successful functioning of the residential development of
the subdivision, and determined that the amendment should be approved and made.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA:
SECTION 1. The existing platted Final Development Plan for the RD-Residential
Development Zone comprised of Tracts 1 and 2, Ponderosa Lake Estates Fifth Subdivision in the
City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, more particularly described as follows:
Tract No.1: Beginning at the southwest comer of Ponder os a Lake Estates Fourth
Subdivision, an addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska; thence
N12040'24"E, along and upon a westerly line of said Ponderosa Lake Estates
Fourth Subdivision, said line also being the westerly line of Lot Eight (8), Block
Three (3), and Outlot IC4", Ponderosa Lake Estates Fourth Subdivision, and their
southerly prolongation, a distance of Two Hundred Ten and Seventy Eight
Hundredths (210.78) feet to the northwest comer of said Lot Eight (8), Block
Three (3), said point also being a point on a curve which is the southerly line of

residential lake front lots north of Ponderosa Drive, all as shown on the final plat for Ponderosa
Lake Estates Fifth Subdivision.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its
passage and publication, within fifteen days in one issue of the Grand Island Independent as
provided by law.
