ORDINANCE NO. 8631
An ordinance to vacate a portion of an existing fifty (50.0) foot wide easement as
I recorded in the Register of Deeds Office as Document No. 87-104009, and located in a part of
the West Half of the Southwest Quarter (WY2 SW'i4) of Section Four (4), Township Eleven (11)
North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M., in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska;
to provide for filing this ordinance in the office of the Register of Deeds of Hall County; and to
provide for publication and the effective date of this ordinance.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA:
SECTION 1. That a portion of the existing fifty (50.0) foot wide easement as
recorded in the Register of Deeds Office as Document No. 87-104009, and located in a part of

North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M. in the city of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska,
more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the north right-of-way line of Roberts Street, said point
being Three Hundred Sixty Four and Seven Tenths (364.7) feet west of the east
line of said West Half of the Southwest Quarter (WY2 SWY4), as measured along
the north right-of-way line of Roberts Street, said point also being the southwest
comer of a Sixteen (16) foot wide Electrical Easement as recorded in the Register
of Deeds Office as Document No. 87-107065, and the southwest comer of said
Fifty (50) foot wide easement; thence deflecting right 90017'33" and running
northerly along the westerly line of said Fifty (50) foot wide easement a distance
of Ninety Eight (98.0) feet, to the ACTUAL point of beginning; thence continuing
northerly along the west line of said Fifty (50) foot wide easement, a distance of
One Hundred Sixty Six and Thirty Six Hundredths (166.36) feet; thence
deflecting right 89052'01" and running easterly a distance of Thirty (30.0) feet;
thence deflecting right 90007'59" and running southerly a distance of One
Hundred Sixty Six and Thirty Two Hundredths (166.32) feet; thence deflecting
right 89042'27" and running westerly a distance of Thirty (30.0) feet, to the
ACTUAL point of beginning and containing 0.115 acres, more or less, as shown
on the drawing dated October 5, 2000, marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference;
is hereby vacated.
SECTION 2. The title to the property vacated by Section 1 of this ordinance shall
revert to the owner or owners of the real estate abutting the same in proportion to the respective
ownership of such real estate.
SECTION 3. This ordinance is directed to be filed in the office of the Register of
Deeds of Hall County, Nebraska.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its
passage and publication, without the drawing, within fifteen days in one issue of the Grand
Island Independent as provided by law.
