This Space Reserved for Register of Deeds · I I ORDINANCE NO. 8556 An ordinance to create Street Improvement District No. 1232; to define the boundaries of the district; to provide for the improvement of a street within the district by paving, curbing, guttering, storm drainage, and other incidential work in connection therewith; to provide for the filing of this ordinance with the Hall County Register of Deeds; and to provide the publication and effective date of this ordinance. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1232 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at a point on the south line of Section 11-11-10, being Three Hundred (300.0) feet east of the southeast comer of Grand West Subdivision; thence west on the south line of Section 11-11-10 and the south line of Grand West Subdivision for a distance of Six Hundred Sixty (660.0) feet; thence north on a line Three Hundred (300.0) feet west of and parallel to the west line of Mansfield Road; thence deflecting left and continuing northwesterly on a line Three Hundred (300.0) feet southwesterly of and parallel to the westerly line of Mansfield Road to a point on the west line of Lot Six (6) Grand West Approved as to Form T /" m - February 4, 2000 .... ~ I I I ORDINANCE NO. 8556 (Cont.) Subdivision; thence north on the west line of Lot Six (6) Grand West Subdivision to the south line of Shanna Street; thence west on the south line of Shanna Street and a prolongation thereof to a point Eighty (80.0) feet west of the west line of Grand West Subdivision; thence north on a line Eighty (80.0) feet west of and parallel to the west line of Grand West Subdivision for a distance of Sixty and One Hundredth (60.01) feet; thence east on the north line of Shanna Street and a prolongation thereof to a point Three Hundred (300.0) feet west of the west line of Mansfield Road; thence north on a line Three Hundred (300.0) feet west of and parallel to the west line of Mansfield Road for a distance of One Hundred Fifty Two and Thirty Four Hundredths (152.34) feet; thence east on a line One Hundred Fifty Two and Thirty Four Hundredths (152.34) feet north of and parallel to the north line of Shanna Street to the west line of Mansfield Road; thence continuing easterly on the north line of Lot Thirty Five (35) Grand West Subdivision and a prolongation thereof to the northeast comer of Lot Thirty Five (35) Grand West Subdivision; thence southeasterly on the northerly line of Lots Twenty Six (26) to Thirty Five (35) of Grand West Subdivision; thence east on the north line of Lot Twenty Five (25) Grand West Subdivision and a prolongation thereof to a point Three Hundred (300.0) feet east of the east line of Mansfield Road; thence south on a line Three Hundred (300.0) feet east of and parallel to the east line of Mansfield Road to the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat dated February 2, 2000, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 3. The following streets in the district shall be improved by paving and other incidental work in connection therewith: Mansfield Road from 13th Street to the north line of Grand West Subdivision, AND Craig Drive from Mansfield Road to the east line of Grand West Subdivision, all in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Engineer for the City of Grand Island and approved by the Mayor and City Council. SECTION 4. All improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby as provided by law. - 2 - Approved as to Form T ~ February 4, 2000 ... City Attorney I I I ORDINANCE NO. 8556 (Cont.) SECTION 5. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage and publication, without the plat, as provided by law. SECTION 7. After passage, approval and publication of this ordinance, without the plat, notice of the creation of said district shall be published in the Grand Island Independent, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
