WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island invited submittals for Generator
Maintenance for the Wastewater Division of the Public Works Department, according to the
Request For Proposals (RFP) on file with the Engineering Division of the Public Works
Department; and
WHEREAS, on July 29, 2026 submittals were received, reviewed, and evaluated
in accordance with established criteria in the RFP; and
WHEREAS, 3E Electric Engineering & Equipment Company (3E) of Windsor
Heights, Iowa submitted qualifications in accordance with the terms of the Request for Proposals
and all statutory requirements contained therein and the City Procurement Code with the work
performed at a cost of$15,260.00 per year for years 1-3; and
WHEREAS, Years 4 and 5 are optional and will be negotiated with an agreement
brought before City Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the submittal from 3E Electric
Engineering & Equipment Company (3E) of Windsor Heights, Iowa for generator maintenance
for the Wastewater Division of the Public Works Department is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed
to execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island and that the City Clerk shall
store, retain, and make available for access all related and herein referenced documents in the
same manner as contracts and agreements are retained
