WHEREAS, The air conditioning unit at Fire Station#1 was originally installed in
2007; and
WHEREAS,The air conditioning unit has experienced multiple breakdowns over the
last several years; and
WHEREAS,It is no longer financially feasible to continue repairing the 2007 model
air conditioning unit; and
WHEREAS,A request for bids(RFB)process was completed with two bids received;
and
WHEREAS,Jerry's Sheet Metal Heating and Cooling was the lowest qualified bidder
at $183,200.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the bid from Jerry's Sheetmetal Heating and
Cooling be hereby accepted and approved; and that the City Clerk shall store, retain, and make
available for access all related and herein referenced documents as contracts and agreements are
retained.
