RESOLUTION 2026-170
WHEREAS know all men by these presents,that John Britton,being the owner of the
land described hereon, have caused same to be surveyed, subdivided, platted and designated as
"DIAMOND PLASTICS SUBDIVISION", A tract of land comprising of Lots 27, 28, 29 & 30 of
Reuting's First Subdivision, Lot 1 of Bick's Subdivision, Lots 1 & 2 of Bick's Third Subdivision,
and a part of the Southwest Quarter of Section Twenty-Four (24), Township Eleven (11) North,
Range Ten(10) East of the 6th P.M., in the City of Grand Island, Hall County,Nebraska.
WHEREAS,a copy of the plat of such subdivision has been presented to the Boards
of Education of the various school districts in Grand Island,Hall County,Nebraska, as required by
Section 19-923, R.R.S. 1943; and
WHEREAS,a form of subdivision agreement has been agreed to between the owner
of the property and the City of Grand Island; and
WHEREAS, said subdivision was approved by the City of Grand Island at their
meeting on April 22, 2025; and
WHEREAS, at the time of this meeting June 23, 2026 the plat has not been filed by
the owner or their representative; and
WHEREAS, a representative for the owner has shown extenuating circumstances
with relate to the acquisition of highway right of way adjacent to the subdivision that prevented
filing the plat.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the form of subdivision agreement herein
before described is hereby reauthorized as approved on this date,and the Clerk is hereby authorized
to file such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the final plat of DIAMOND PLASTICS
SUBDIVISION, as made out, acknowledged, and certified, is hereby reauthorized as approved by
the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, and the Clerk is authorized to file this
resolution on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
