An ordinance correcting the legal description of real estate sold in Ordinance
10,060, Inst 202600327, enacted January 13, 2026.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA:
SECTION 1. The City of Grand Island, Nebraska, conveyed certain real estate to
buyer John Baasch Auger Flighting, Inc. on January 13, 2026 through enacting Ordinance
10,060. Brent Cyboron, Professional Land Surveyor, provided an affidavit correctly identifying
the legal description of the land subject to sale in that ordinance as follows:
A TRACT OF LAND COMPRISING A PART OF SOUTH HALF OF THE SOUTHWEST
QUARTER (S1/2 SW1/4), SECTION SEVENTEEN (17), TOWNSHIP ELEVEN (11)
NORTH, RANGE NINE (9) WEST OF THE 6TH P.M., CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, HALL
COUNTY, NEBRASKA, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF JBA MAIN SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY
OF GRAND ISLAND, SAID POINT ALSO BEING THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT
THREE (3), BLOCK FORTY-TWO (42), PACKER AND BARR'S ANNEX TO THE CITY OF
GRAND ISLAND; THENCE N 89° 11' 43" W ALONG THE EXTENSION OF THE SOUTH

SUBDIVISION, A DISTANCE OF FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY-NINE AND TWENTY-FIVE
HUNDREDTHS (479.25) FEET; THENCE S 89° 15' 34" E ALONG THE EXTENSION OF
THE NORTH LINE OF SAID JBA MAIN SUBDIVISION, A DISTANCE OF TWENTY-FIVE
(25.00) FEET TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID JBA MAIN SUBDIVISION;
THENCE S 00° 04' 47" E ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID JBA MAIN SUBDIVISION, A
DISTANCE OF FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY-NINE AND TWENTY-EIGHT (479.28) FEET
TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
SECTION 2. All other aspects of Ordinance 10,060 remain as originally enacted
on January 13, 2026.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and
immediately after its passage. This ordinance shall be recorded with the register of deeds upon its
passage.
