WHEREAS, on October 14, 2025, via Resolution No.2025-359, the City of Grand
Island awarded RMV Construction, LLC of Kearney, Nebraska the bid in the amount of
$7,528,317.60 for Transfer Station Facility Improvements; Project No. 2025-SWTS-1; and
WHEREAS, several items have been encountered that require modification to the
original contract; and
WHEREAS,such modifications have been incorporated into Change Order No. 1 for
a contract increase of$262,946.44, resulting in a revised contract amount of$7,791,264.04.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the Mayor be,and hereby is,authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 1, in the amount of$262,946.44, between the City of Grand
Island and RMV Construction, LLC of Kearney,Nebraska to provide the modifications.
