WHEREAS, the City Engineer/Public Works Director for the City Of Grand
Island has issued a Certificate of Completion for Sanitary Sewer Open Cut Repairs; Project No.
2026-S-1, certifying that The Diamond Engineering Company of Grand Island, Nebraska, under
contract, has completed the project in the total amount of$292,989.60; and
WHEREAS, additional project costs equate to $50,454.06, as detailed below,
resulting in a total project cost of$343,443.66; and
Grand Island Independent- Advertising $ 60.40
Public Works Engineering $ 31,443.66
Grand Island Utilities- Transformer Move $ 600.00
Midlands Contracting, Inc. dba Johnson Service Co.- Point Repair $ 18,350.00
Additional Project Costs $ 50,454.06
WHEREAS, the City Engineer/Public Works Director recommends the
acceptance of the project; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor concurs with the recommendation of the City
Engineer/Public Works Director.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA, that the Certificate of Final Completion for
Sanitary Sewer Open Cut Repairs; Project No. 2026-S-1 in the total amount of $343,443.66 is
hereby confirmed.
