WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island invited sealed bids for PGS Turbine Valve
Outage Fall 2026, according to plans and specifications on file with the Utilities Department; and
WHEREAS, on May 28, 2026, bids were received, opened and reviewed; and
WHEREAS, MD&A-Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis LLC of Lathan, New
York, submitted a bid in accordance with the terms of the advertisement of bids and plans and
specifications and all other statutory requirements contained therein, such bid being in the amount
not to exceed $936,270.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the bid of MD&A-Mechanical
Dynamics & Analysis LLC in the amount not to exceed $936,270.00, for PGS Turbine Valve
Outage Fall 2026, is hereby approved as the lowest responsible bid.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed
to execute such contract on behalf of the City of Grand Island and to take all other actions necessary
to effect the purpose of this resolution.
