WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island invited Requests for Proposals Backflow
Management System,according to plans and specifications on file with the Utilities Department;and
WHEREAS,on April 21,2026,proposals were received,opened and reviewed,and
evaluated; and
WHEREAS, SwiftComply US OpCo, Inc, of Pleasanton, California, submitted a
proposal in accordance with the terms of the Request for Proposals,and plans and specifications and
all other statutory requirements contained therein, such proposal being in the amount of a one-time
service fee of $10,000.00 and an Annual Software Subscription of $15,000.00 with an annual
increase of 3%per year for 5 years; and
WHEREAS,the proposal from Olsson of Lincoln,Nebraska SwiftComply US OpCo,
Inc.,of Pleasanton,California,meets all of the requirements for the Utilities Department Backflow
Management System.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA, that the proposal from SwiftComply US OpCo,
Inc,of Pleasanton, California, in an amount of a one-time service fee of$10,000.00 and an Annual
Software Subscription of$15,000.00 with an annual increase of 3% per year for 5 years, for the
Backflow Management System, is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute such
contract on behalf of the City of Grand Island and to take all other actions necessary to effect the
purpose of this resolution.
