WHEREAS, the City approved the Grand Island Police Department's budget
authority to purchase a one year contract with LexisNexis Risk Solutions; and
WHEREAS, the Grand Island Police Department requests the Accurint Crime
Analysis dashboard provided by LexisNexis Risk Solutions which provides law enforcement with
crime mapping,pattern analysis, and reporting tools to identify crime trends; and
WHEREAS, the dashboard allows agencies to visualize crime data, identify non-
obvious connections between people and vehicles, and share data across jurisdictions for faster
investigations; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department wishes to purchase Accurint Crime Analysis
dashboard from LexisNexis Risk Solutions for a one-year contract of$9,000.00. These purchases
will be funded using the approved FY26 Police Department Operations funds; and
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, to approve the purchase of Accurint Crime
Analysis dashboard from LexisNexis Risk Solutions for a one-year contract of$9,000.00.
