RESOLUTION NO. 2026-121
A RESOLUTION SELECTING AN UNDERWRITER FOR THE CITY'S PROPOSED
SALE OF TAX SUPPORTED MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS, SERIES 2026.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, (the "City") has
previously authorized issuance of its Tax Supported Municipal Improvement Bonds, Series 2026,
in the principal amount of not to exceed $25,000,000 (the "Bonds") pursuant to Ordinance No.
10,073 passed and approved on April 28, 2026, (the "Bond Ordinance") and authorized Echo
Financial Products, LLC, acting as the City's municipal advisor (the "Municipal Advisor"), to
solicit proposals from qualified underwriting firms in connection with the proposed delivery and
sale of the Bonds; and
WHEREAS, certain underwriting firms submitted proposals for underwriting services in
connection with the Bonds; and
WHEREAS, after receipt and review by the Municipal Advisor with the City's staff, the
proposal of D.A. Davidson & Co. to serve as underwriter for the Bonds has received the
recommendation of the City's staff and the Municipal Advisor, and the City wishes to select D.A.
Davidson& Co. for such purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THE CITY OF
GRAND ISLAND, NEBRAKSA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. D.A. Davidson& Co. is hereby selected and designated to serve as underwriter
of the Bonds in accordance with the proposed terms provided to the City.
Section 2. The Bonds shall be offered and issued pursuant to and in accordance with the
Bond Ordinance. Nothing in this resolution shall be deemed to amend or modify the Bond
Ordinance; nor to bind or obligate the City with respect to delivery, issuance, or sale of the Bonds.
Section 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
