WHEREAS, the City approved the contract and the amendment for animal shelter,
care, and disposition with the Central Nebraska Humane Society; and
WHEREAS,the payments due under Article B(6)and V(3)for February and March
remain due and owing; and,
WHEREAS, the Grand Island Police Department requests that the Mayor and the
City Council approve payments of amounts due and owing for February and March totaling
$7,005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,to approve the payment for$7,005 to satisfy
the City's contractual obligations to CNHS for February and March of 2026.
